B3W Group had a brilliant idea to develop a slot which has a prison theme. Obviously it is called Alcatraz. During the various rounds you have to help prisoners escape from their jail cells. The graphics are excellent; it has a childish style really pleasant. However the sound effects are not exceptional, it is actually the noise of classical slot machines. But this does not affect the quality of the game.

A Legendary Prison

In the middle of the San Francisco bay stands the most famous prison in the world known as Alcatraz. Converted to a historic site now, it was a military prison from 1909 to 1933 and a maximum security federal prison from 1934 to 1963. Surrounded by icy water, it was often considered that one could not escape. In fact, 14 attempts were made by 36 detainees in total. 23 were captured, 6 were shot dead and 2 drowned. The remaining 5 were never found but the authorities believe they must have drowned before reaching the shore.

Overview of the Slot

The Alcatraz slot machine has 3 reels and 3 paylines. Although it does not have a Wild and a Scatter, you can win free spins; it is a basic mechanical slot machine. It also has a very pleasant and captivating bonus game.

The Betting Options

In the betting round you can only bet one coin per line. You can not choose the denominations. The amount is always 2€/$. The Jackpot

There is one more symbol for you to win the jackpot. 3 federal bank symbols you win 2,000 coins if it appears on the first line, 3,000 coins on the second line and 5000 coins on the third line. If you want to win the jackpot of the slot machine you have to wager the maximum amount.

The Bonus Game

The reels of the slot machine are on the right of the screen. You’ll see 3 piles of rope which the prisoners are using as a trunk to try and escape from the famous Californian prison when you obtain a prisoner symbol on a payline, an escapee slides up on the rope which corresponds to the reel which the item appeared. The left reel works with left rope, the centre with the centre, the right one with the right rope.

When you have a convict on the 3 ropes, you win 3 coins. Then all slide down a box. If you manage to get the eighth one on the rope with your convicts, you win 100 coins. The game goes back to zero. If you manage to get the eighth on the 2 ropes at the same time with your convicts, you win 5,000 coins.

In paying mode, when you stop playing, the position of the prisoners is registered, so when you turn on the machine, your convicts occupy the same position on the ropes.

With nice graphics, its original theme and a fun bonus game, you will spend pleasant moments of gambling on the slot machine Alcatraz. Very simple, it is not at endearing.
